Welcome to Waterhill Oodles, where we are dedicated to raising exceptional puppies with an unwavering focus on health, temperament and early development.

Our dogs are, first and foremost our family. They enjoy an idyllic life on our 80-acre Sunshine Coast hinterland farm, spending their days exploring wide open paddocks, helping us with daily farm life and, of course, curling up on the couch with us each evening.

We believe exceptional puppies don’t happen by chance. They are the result of carefully selected breeding dogs, comprehensive health testing, thoughtful pairing decisions, and an enormous investment of time, love and care. Every Waterhill puppy is born in our home before graduating to our purpose-built Puppy House, where they take part in a carefully designed Puppy Development Program. Through daily handling, enrichment, socialisation and exposure to the sights and sounds of both home and farm life, our puppies develop into confident, resilient and well-adjusted companions.

HI, I’M SARAH

I was born a dog lover

I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember, so being able to dedicate my life to breeding oodle puppies is both a privilege and a genuine joy. After many years in the corporate world, I made the decision to leave behind meetings and office life in favour of muddy boots, wagging tails and raising puppies—a decision I’ve never regretted.

I’m endlessly fascinated by canine genetics and the art of breeding. I love learning how health, temperament, structure and genetics work together, but I also believe the best breeders truly know their dogs. Understanding each dog’s personality and strengths is just as important as understanding their DNA, and every breeding decision I make is guided by both science and the knowledge that comes from years of living and working with dogs.

Away from the puppies, you’ll usually find me outdoors with my horses. Horses have always been a huge part of my life, and I love riding and competing in campdrafts. I enjoy the partnership between horse and rider and the challenge of working cattle.

When the day’s work is done, I’m happiest enjoying life’s simple pleasures—sharing a great meal with my husband Mark (that he cooks), settling in for a good movie, and spending time with our dogs as they compete for the best spot on the couch.

You are welcome to go and see the puppies with their lovely Mummy Frankie who looks so well cared for and happy - all the puppies look healthy and also well looked after, and Sarah is a total delight to deal with from start to finish. Gemma cuddled Vic for hours before bedtime, she went into her crage and complained for 15 minutes at most thn slept all night. She is the most precious little puppy ever. Vic's heart has melted and his grieving is being well managed by our Gemma. Honestly we will never be able to thank you enough.

Just thought I’d send you these photos of Franklin. He’s been such a wonderful addition to our family. He had his vet visit and vaccinations yesterday and did really well. He’s now 3.0kg! I promise-he’s not got fat!He’s just about sleeping through the night and is able to take himself out through the doggy door to go to the toilet without prompting or accidents.We just adore him and are so grateful for you and Greta for giving him such a lovely start in life.

We were drawn to Waterhill by the amazing website which showcased your love of your cavoodle pups and caring nature as a breeder.The communication throughout the whole process was excellent, from the initial advice to the frequent pupdates which we looked forward to every couple of days.Charlie (Pumpkin) our puppy is perfect for us. He has done so well adapting to a new environment and his calm, cuddly nature was predicted perfectly by Sarah.Several dog owners were shocked to hear that we had no issues with whining through the night or tantrums when left alone. Our experience with Waterhill Cavoodles is one that I would recommend to anyone wanting a Cavoodle. Sarah is extremely knowledgeable, no questions went un-answered and communication was so easy. We absolutely loved receiving updates (pupdates) on Lulu regularly and our visit to meet Lulu was organised so easily. Lulu is the perfect puppy for us, she fits in so well with our family and night times have been an absolute breeze with her. She has adjusted really well with different sights and sounds and this comes down to all the love, time and effort you put into the puppies and their parents as a breeder. Thank you Sarah for our first puppy, Bailey has completed our family. After extensive research over a period of six months I found my self always going back to Waterhill Cavoodles website. From the moment I contacted Sarah she has always been quick to respond in a polite manner with no pressure at all. Highly recommend. Fantastic experience working with Sarah. Waterhill puts so much care, knowledge and attention into their puppies and choosing the right families. We were kept up to date with emails and photos each week as our puppy grew and had any questions answered quickly.
