HELLO I’M SARAH

I was born a dog lover

German Shepherds have always held a special place in my heart, but when my gorgeous GSD Zena died at age 15 I was convinced by a friend that a cavoodle should be my next dog. No shedding, smaller and perfect for couch cuddles. That’s when my first cavoodle Frankie came along – and I have been almost addicted to cavoodles ever since.

Frankie showed me just how amazing cavoodles are. They are the perfect mix of the smart and trainable poodle with the good natured and loving cavalier. I began breeding cavoodles at Waterhill to bring families the same joy that Frankie brought me.

Waterhill is an 80 acre property in the beautiful hinterland of the Sunshine Coast with a rich history as a Brahman Cattle stud. With lush green paddocks and water-filled gullies, it is the perfect environment for breeding happy, confident and fun loving cavoodles.

We recently purchased a puppy from Waterhill Cavoodles. Sarah and Mark were brilliant to deal with every step of the way and very patient with all my questions. It was fantastic to be able to meet and play with both Mum and Dad before we took Harvey home. Both dogs have beautiful temperaments and are clearly much loved and cared for members of their family. You are welcome to go and see the puppies with their lovely Mummy Frankie who looks so well cared for and happy - all the puppies look healthy and also well looked after, and Sarah is a total delight to deal with from start to finish. We bought our Nugget (who was then Humphrey!) from Waterhill Cavoodles October last year and the shy little Humphrey has morphed into a very naughty Nugget !!!! She is a wonderful puppy. We are so grateful that she spent a bit more time with you, she obviously learnt a lot from you. She sleeps through the night in her crate and does not cry at all. She is a very happy puppy and we are lucky to have her.

Gemma cuddled Vic for hours before bedtime, she went into her crage and complained for 15 minutes at most thn slept all night. She is the most precious little puppy ever. Vic's heart has melted and his grieving is being well managed by our Gemma. Honestly we will never be able to thank you enough.

Just thought I’d send you these photos of Franklin. He’s been such a wonderful addition to our family. He had his vet visit and vaccinations yesterday and did really well. He’s now 3.0kg! I promise-he’s not got fat! He’s just about sleeping through the night and is able to take himself out through the doggy door to go to the toilet without prompting or accidents. We just adore him and are so grateful for you and Greta for giving him such a lovely start in life.

We were drawn to Waterhill by the amazing website which showcased your love of your cavoodle pups and caring nature as a breeder. The communication throughout the whole process was excellent, from the initial advice to the frequent pupdates which we looked forward to every couple of days. Charlie (Pumpkin) our puppy is perfect for us. He has done so well adapting to a new environment and his calm, cuddly nature was predicted perfectly by Sarah. Several dog owners were shocked to hear that we had no issues with whining through the night or tantrums when left alone. Definitely thanks to good advice and a good breeder.

Hayley and I honest cant thank you enough. There have been so many moments over the first week where both Hayley and I, as well as our family and friends have commented on his temperament, behaviour and how well he has adapted. We have friends currently that have puppies as well and they have had a much harder time than we have already and we 100% attribute that to your efforts in breeding and raising him. Our experience with Waterhill Cavoodles is one that I would recommend to anyone wanting a Cavoodle. Sarah is extremely knowledgeable, no questions went un-answered and communication was so easy. We absolutely loved receiving updates (pupdates) on Lulu regularly and our visit to meet Lulu was organised so easily. Lulu is the perfect puppy for us, she fits in so well with our family and night times have been an absolute breeze with her. She has adjusted really well with different sights and sounds and this comes down to all the love, time and effort you put into the puppies and their parents as a breeder. Thank you Sarah for our first puppy, Bailey has completed our family. After extensive research over a period of six months I found my self always going back to Waterhill Cavoodles website. From the moment I contacted Sarah she has always been quick to respond in a polite manner with no pressure at all. Highly recommend. Fantastic experience working with Sarah. Waterhill puts so much care, knowledge and attention into their puppies and choosing the right families. We were kept up to date with emails and photos each week as our puppy grew and had any questions answered quickly. In preparation for handover we were given all the information and more plus a care packet to get us started. Our puppy is beautiful and we couldn’t be happier!
